Teacher Training opportunities at NPA
Nene Park Academy (NPA) offers initial teacher training as a lead school in conjunction with The Cambridge Partnership. To find job opportunities within the successful Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust (CMAT) and train at NPA search for Nene Park Academy here https://www.find-postgraduate-teacher-training.service.gov.uk/
If you are a graduate and want to complete your training in a school environment around Peterborough then we invite you to apply to us where you will work with experienced, practising teachers on a course which has been tailored towards delivering outstanding teachers for our schools. All applications must be completed through UCAS.
Our course leads to qualified teacher status (QTS) as well as the opportunity to complete the Post Graduate Certificate in Education; two of the written assignments for PGCE trainees are completed at Masters Level and combined lead to the award of 60 Credits at Level 7. Trainees on the PGCE route may decide to continue to the full MA qualification at a later date.
In addition, Nene Park Academy supports local and regional teacher training providers. We have experienced mentors who also work with Teach East and University of Bedfordshire.
Further training opportunities will exist for you should you chose to stay with us during your Newly Qualified Year.
For more information or if you have difficulty finding our courses please email the Professional Tutor, Mrs Helen Naylor (HNaylor@neneparkacademy.org).
