Primary into Secondary Transition 2025

Welcome to Nene Park Academy. We hope that the pages below are informative about the transition process. A rough time line of key events is shown below:

March & April – First and Second round notifications are released by the LA

March & April – NPA contact parents requesting completion of the Data Collection Form

April & May – NPA send out the formal Welcome letter

May & June – NPA collect information from Primaries about those pupils accepting a place

June & July – Information about house allocation, uniform and Transition days is dispatched.

We will routinely send out information to prospective parents and pupils through May and June in preparation for the two transition days: Weds 2nd and Thursday 3rd of July. Other useful information can be found below. NPA have a gender neutral uniform policy. A few key items such as the jumper & tie are coloured to show the House. Allocations to houses are made after we have gained information from the primaries and as a consequence this allocation is not usually sent out until late June or early July. Siblings of current students are allocated to the same house, but outside of this allocations to houses are made to provide a balance across houses.
