Open Evening for Years 5/6 – Tuesday 7th October 2025

Because of our popularity, it takes time for our visitors to enter the academy once a queue has formed. If the weather forecast predicts rain, please bring a water-proof jacket &/or an umbrella.

I hope you are looking forward to our Open Evening on Tuesday 7th October 2025.  It is a busy and vibrant event with so much happening. We have planned to hold three repeat presentations from Mr Grover, our Principal over the evening and these will commence at 6.00, 6.45 (green tickets) and 7.25 (blue tickets).  The doors by the main hall (* on the diagram below; not main reception) will open at 5.40 only for those wishing to be in the first talk.  Thereafter, the doors at main reception open at 6 pm and as you enter the academy please request enough tickets for the size of your party and for the talk you wish to attend.

To help you navigate around the Academy we ask our current students across all year groups to act as tour guides.  The students will be given a specific route map to follow so that you get to see all areas and can gain information from students at Nene Park.  Feel free to ask your guide any questions during the tour, but you will find plenty of staff in each departmental area if you require more detail.

There is plenty of parking on site and those students who are part of the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) will help marshal this.  The main car parks are shown on the diagram below, A) directly ahead through the green gates and past the 3G pitch, B) left and up by the POSH training ground, or C) below the Academy building before the gates.  We may also utilise overflow parking on the school field.  There is disabled parking close by reception (*) and this is also close to the entrance to the main hall for the first presentation.

Below the prospectus you will find our new Transition video where you will see introductions from the staff within each house who have responsibility for the pastoral care and academic progress of all pupils and below that a video “Nene Park Academy – In Pursuit of Excellence” where pupils describe their experiences of life at NPA.

The Academy Prospectus will be available at our Open Evening should you wish to take a copy for yourself. A link to the digital version can be found below (click on the image).
