Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium was introduced by the Coalition Government in April 2011 to provide additional support for looked after children and those from low income families. The extra funding is made available to us to help us  narrow the attainment gap that still exists between pupils from disadvantaged and more affluent backgrounds. With high quality first teaching, a commitment to the development of the whole child and robust systems to ensure that we personalise programs effectively, we are proud of our ‘Pupil Premium’ strategies. The Pupil Premium strategic plans are reviewed termly and reported to the Academy Council in each full Academy Council Meeting.
