Parents of Year 6 students living in Peterborough receive booklet from local authority and can start to apply.

Deadline for applications

All applications must be made online by visiting: www.peterborough.gov.uk/admissions.  Local libraries, council offices and most schools have public access computers where you can access the website.  Most primary schools will help you access the on-line system if you do not have a home computer, smart phone or ipad. Alternatively contact  Mrs S Oates on 01733 368386 to make an appointment to complete the online application at Nene Park Academy.

National Offer Day. E-mail confirmation of place received from local authority

Welcome letter from NPA sent to Year 6 parents whose children have places

Any place not accepted by this deadline will be withdrawn.

Deadline for Appeal Application

Appeals must be received by this date to be heard within 40 school days.

The year 6s meet their tutors and other members of their tutor groups as well as experiencing NPA lessons

Year 6 Parents' Evening 

Parents meet the tutors and house teams and learn about life at NPA 

Tuesday 5th September 2017

First day of term

Students should come prepared with PE Kit and other equipment for first day of term.  They will be given their timetable.

By Friday 15th September 2017

Phone call from tutor

Tutors will phone Year 6 parents with information on how their child is settling into Nene Park Academy

This is an opportunity for Year 6 students to make new friends.

Tuesday 10th October 2017

Year 7 Tutor Evening

Parents informal meeting with tutors to update on how students have settled in.

Tuesday 23rd January 2018

Year 7 Parents' Evening

Opportunity to discuss academic progress with class teachers.  A letter will be sent to parents informing them of the evening and when the online booking system opens.  This is usually 2 weeks before the parents' evening.

How do I book Parents' Evening Appointments?

A letter will be sent home 2 weeks before the  parents' email detailing how appointments can be booked.  This includes the online system which only becomes live a couple of weeks before the evening.

Can my child join/continue their membership of the Children's University?

Yes, NPA is keen to increase its membership of the Children's University. Students should keep their passports from primary school so we can add their registration numbers to our school system

What is Session 6?

A series of learning opportunities outside of the classroom that are available to all of our students between 3 pm and 4 pm every day of the week except Tuesday.
